How can I fix a slider phone that was in contact with moisture?

My 13 month old son got ahold of my slider remix and was sucking on it. Now when I press a button it trys to dial mutiple numbers and then tries to take a picture. Is this phone done for? I have it drying near a heat source and I hope this will help.

Reply:If you have phone insurance you can get it replaced. If not you probably dont want to take it apart. That said, try buying some dessicant and put the phone in a ziploc with the stuff and let it draw the moisture out of the phone. Like those little silica gel packets that you get when you buy a leather good. You can find them possibly at an auto parts or sanitary supply store. Griots Garage sells it. The link is below.
