How long can red-eared sliders live without light ?

i have 3 red-eared sliders that i got yesterday and we did not buy a UVB light for them yet.. and my dad wants to buy it tomorrow but i`m not sure how long they can last without light =S so i was just wondering.. thanks

Reply:They can last awhile without the light. So, don't worry about not getting the light till tomorrow. But, don't keep putting it off for weeks. You'll be fine.
