How do i build a fabric cornice for my windows and french sliders?

Easy! Form the shape and size of the cornice with plywood. Cover with batting and fabric if you want an upholstered look or just with fabric if you don't want it to look too "pouffy". Wrap the fabric and use upholstery tacks or a staple gun to attach the fabric on the back side. Screw it to the wall over the top of your window with "L" brackets. Voila!
