No. Turtles in the wild are often seen in colder than expected temps, but that is because of several conditions working together that a small pond cannot duplicate.





In general, once the night temps drop below 50 or so, bring them in.
Reply:Absolutely not. RES turtles prefer water temp in the 80s and air temp in the 90s. That's where their immune system functions the best. Anything else will at best, put them into hibernation, and at worst, kill them.
