Can Yellowbellied sliders get pregnant, and how???Do i need a basking light???

Most of the time, sliders will mate in the spring. Provide the female with nesting soil that is slightly dampened so the female can dig without to much sand falling back in the nest hole. Make sure the nesting area has a warm tempurature. Sliders should always have a basking light.
