Do baby Red Ear Sliders (water turtles) outgrow salmonellosis?

And if they do when?

Do baby Red Ear Sliders (water turtles) outgrow salmonellosis?
are you asking if they ever stop carrying it?

the answer is no.

Many reptiles carry salmonella their whole life, and people who own them must be aware of this and practice good hygeine, especially with children.
Reply:it is not a disease it is just something they carry on there skin so its just salmonella and no they always have a chance of having it but if you practice good hygene you have nothing to worry about. they are not suitable for children under 9 and it is even more important for kids to wash there hands after they have touched a turtle or tortoise and keep their hands away from their mouths.
