I have 2 red ear sliders. sometimes they do this weird "dance" with eachother by standing on their back legs

and shaking their front little flipper paws. it's kinda cute. is it some kind of mating dance?

it is a mating dance!!! your right. If they are both males, then you got something different there. that could be a sign of aggression, because there is not enough space for both of them in that teeny aquarium. but if both male and female, yep. expect.turtle babies.
