I have 2 red eared sliders in a 55 gallon tank...I need help?

They're fecal matter is just piling up even after a good clean, can anyone recommend a good filter or any advice on how to make it not such a poop storm?

There's several things that can help. First off, a good filter. Fluval makes a good filter but a All Living Things brand also makes a good filter. Be sure to change the filter once a week at least, more if needed. You could add a plant called Anacharis which eats their poo and looks good in the tank. You can use Exo-Terra's Biotize which is micro-organisms that eat the poo. You can use snails that help with keeping the tank clean, but the best bet is to spend a little more on a good filter.
Reply:Red Eared Sliders need 10 gallons of water per 1 inch of shell. They also need water as deep as can get and a basking platform and uva/uvb lighting.

You need a good filter as well to help keep down the waste. For more info, I have listed the best turtle forum to ask questions on.
