Are red eared sliders allowed to eat celery?

Yes but its doesn't really do anything for them. And don't feed turtle pellets as a main meal for them, red eared sliders need variety. Turtle pellets should make up 25% of their food, not a lot. That one guy was very wrong :]

Are red eared sliders allowed to eat celery?
technically they can. making sure their cut in small slices. but celery is 100% water. its pretty useless. stick with tomatoes, carrots, squash, skinless tomatoes and grapes, bannanas, skinless apples, bloodworms, krill, and waxworms.

use all those for treats.

reptomin turtle food is a main source of calcium and vitamines, and should be fed as his/her main meal

i know you just asked about celery but i felt i had to fill you in on what i know about turtle food

good luck
Reply:as long as you get all the strings out of it. the strings might choke them. but i stick to lettuce and tomatoes and thin carrot slices. and the occasional krill or feeder fish treat.
Reply:no the CIA is going to stop them
