Most all are made from Delrin im not sure if thats how you spell it but. so there all going to all do the same thingfor the most . Many think that there made to save fairings thats not the case thats why there called frame sliders. they protect your fram from long slides that could cause frame to wear. WhATEVER you do dont get the NO CUT frame sliders that avoid cuting the fairing they break off a lot of times. I was a honda service advisor
Reply:I can. I can honestly tell you they all seem to do an adequate job to protect your more expensive parts. But (an that's a BIG but) there is NOTHING that will be absolutely the ultimate in sacrificing itself all the way and still be of use.

A note on that; the VORTEX ones are relatively soft and do seem to deform when impacted faster. They are the least expensive out of the bunch also.

Yes, they had to be put through the test! RACING ONLY!
Reply:you said it, hopefully it won't matter,

I don't think anyone on here can honestly tell you what the best ones are, but they're a fairly simple product, so I wouldn't doubt that it won't matter too much, none of them will break no matter what, get what looks best.
Reply:They are all made basically the same way, but i have known a lot of people to lay there bikes down and the frame slider was the first piece to crack and offered no protection. if your looking for the most protection I would look into a crash cage.
Reply:Shogun billet frame sliders are the dogs watsits
