is that okay like is that a sign of some sickness?

My red ear sliders supposed to be red mark isnt red!?
It doesn't have to be red can also be orange or yellow. What color is yours? They can also fade as they grow.
Reply:well did they have them when you gat them?if you just got them and they dont have them then it isnt a red eared slider.
Reply:One of my RES had orange instead of red the turtle should be fine.

Reply:red ears are called that because of the red ears. not trying to be dumb / they may have put one over on you


look it up in a turtle book - - -but I did see one once that the red was so light it looked yellow
