I have 3 baby sliders and 2 always like to swim and one is always basking and never swimming. Why is that?

Like humans turtles have their own personalities. Some swim more then others and some bask more then others.





Don't worry about it..I would be more worried about the ones that don't bask..I have 3 that bask all the time and one that doesn't!!





Do a daily check of their shells..for spots, softness etc. If you notice something unusual then worry!!





Basking fights off parasites and disease.





Some turtles are just plain lazy and some are not...





As long as they are getting the proper diet, water changes etc...they should be ok....

Most sliders bask mosrt of the day. So this is normal. Dont worry,
