What do I do if my red ear sliders lay eggs?

If ther egg is in the water, toss it out. If on land, mark the top with a felt-tipped marker and be sure to always keep the mark up. Sanitize a plastic bag and put barely-damp sphagnum or absorbent cotton in the bottom of the bag. Layer the eggs on top and seal the bag. Leave it where the temperature won't change much, such as the top of your refrigerator. Wait 2-3 months. One warning: don't get your hopes too high. Turtles sometimes lay infertile eggs.

turtles generally dont care for their eggs after they are laid, they will just bury them in the sand and leave, so what you should do is bury them if they're not already done so and keep them warm and protected
Reply:Leave them alone!
